Job summary

DÔEN, headquartered in Van Nuys, CA, is seeking a Design Assistant to support the Design Director and team in inspiration, concept development, and presentation preparation. You will assist with seasonal research on fabrics, trims and colors, and help manage line-sheets and cross-functional documentation throughout the design process.

The role requires a fashion degree, skills in Adobe Creative Suite, strong sketching ability, and meticulous organization to keep up with fast-paced product

Qualifications

• Degree in apparel or fashion (2–4 year program).
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to product detail.
• Sketching skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Design Director and team with inspiration and design tasks.
• Research seasonal concepts, fabrics, trims and color.
• Create and prep design presentations weekly and seasonally.
• Manage line-sheets and cross-functional documents; liaise with Design and Development.
• Name styles and facilitate Pass-Offs to Technical Design.
