Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leadership professional to supervise and develop hourly associates, hire, train, and mentor staff, and ensure strong customer service aligned with Walmart's values. The role emphasizes building a culture of belonging, leading change, and delivering results across store operations.

You will drive performance, manage budgeting and scheduling, and partner with stakeholders to meet growth and customer service targets while upholding ethical standards and open communication.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring; assign duties and provide recognition.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities; build relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
• Lead and develop teams through training, feedback, and driving company change efforts; ensure clear guidance on business objectives.
• Model exceptional customer service and resolve issues, supporting Walmart’s OBW service model and community initiatives.
