Job summary

REVOLVE, a leading fashion retailer in Cerritos, CA, is hiring a Buying Assistant in a permanent full-time capacity. You will support the buying department daily, enter and manage orders, and cultivate strong relationships with vendors and the buying team.

Responsibilities include order entry, trend/detail tagging, discrepancy handling, sending selling reports, vendor paperwork, sample coordination, and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Merchandising Management or similar field
• Proficient in Gmail, Excel, Word and online navigation
• Previous experience with data entry
• At least 2 years of experience in a showroom, buying office or fashion industry environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the completion of order entry and ongoing reorder management, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Manage and execute trend and product detail tagging, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Manage discrepancies and shipping updates
• Send selling reports to vendors
• Manage vendor forms, new brand paperwork requests and fur documents
• Sample requests, coordination and tracking
• Email correspondences in a timely and communicative manner
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management
• Join brand appointments with the buyer, both virtually and in person for local markets.
