24 Seven Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Buying Assistant to support the buying team with administrative tasks, order tracking, reporting, and data analysis to inform inventory decisions.

Reporting to the VP of Buying, the role emphasizes data processing, organization, and analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and proficient in Excel, with the ability to handle large data sets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a fast-paced fashion wholesale buying or merchandising environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, SUMIF, and VLOOKUP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and assess internal and external data for analysis.
• Support the buying team by pulling reports (sell-through, inventory, open PO, sales history).
• Research, organize, and tag product information.
• Issue, review, and manage purchase orders and supplier confirmations.
• Maintain purchase order details in the ERP system (cost, style codes, shipping windows, images, descriptions).
• Collaborate with logistics to track shipping details and deliveries.
• Conduct competitive research on pricing, MSRP, imagery, and product information.
• Provide general administrative support to sales and buying teams.
