H2ajobs in Kansas seeks farmworkers to assist with cattle care, water hauling, fencing, daily feeding, and calving support. You will contribute to calf care and herd management, with responsibilities adapting to weather and farm needs.

Housing is provided, meals are supported, and transportation to the job and for shopping is arranged or reimbursed. Ability to obtain a valid US driver’s license is required; 0 months experience accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Caring for cattle daily and assisting during calving.
• Hauling water to livestock on fields and maintaining hot wire fences.
• Feeding cattle and preparing cows for breeding programs as needed.
• Assisting in calf care, tagging, weighing, and data collection for herd records.
• General cattle care and readiness for varied weather conditions.

Duties may include: Duties include but are not limited to the following: Caring for cattle; hauling water to livestock out on cornstalks/fields. Maintaining hot wire fence for cattle. Checking and feeding cattle daily. Assist during calving. Helping calves thrive after birth in potentially cold weather, drying calves, ear tagging, weighing, collecting information for heard record keeping. Assist in preparing cows for breeding programs. Assist preparing and caring for young bulls developing for sale. Other cattle care as needed depending on weather and circumstances & other related Farmworker, Livestock activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org).

• Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
• Meals: The employer will furnish cooking facilities, utilities, and utensils for workers to prepare their own meals in the housing provided kitchen. Included basic appliances will consist of, but is not limited to, refrigerator, stove/oven, and sink with hot and cold-water connections.All appliances included will be in good, working condition for the workers. Employer will provide transportation to grocery store at least once a week for workers who wish to shop for food.
• Transport: The employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to H-2A or U.S. workers, or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved in traveling (a) to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer (i.e., inbound) and (b) from the pl... Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
