About the Position
Harvest Truck Drivers will transport grain from fields to grain elevators, storage facilities and other designated locations. This position is ideal for an experienced CDL driver who is dependable, safety-focused and comfortable working long hours during the harvest season.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a grain truck to transport harvested grain.
Haul grain between fields, elevators, grain bins, storage facilities and other locations.
Load and unload grain at designated locations.
Safely maneuver trucks in fields, farm areas and on rural roads.
Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
Perform routine truck inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate records of loads and deliveries.
Communicate with farm and grain elevator personnel throughout the workday.
Keep the truck and work areas clean and organized.
Assist with general harvest duties when needed.
Work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced outdoor environment.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL required.
Good driving record required.
Previous grain truck, farm or agricultural driving experience preferred.
Ability to safely operate and maneuver a truck in fields and on rural roads.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be dependable and have excellent attendance.
Willing and able to work extended hours during harvest including Saturdays and Sunday afternoons.
Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures.
