Job summary

The BP Deli Prep position at Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, IN requires a reliable team player who can prep deli meats, cheeses, salads, and other items with accuracy.

You will maintain clean workstations, follow health and safety guidelines, stock and rotate inventory, and support the deli team to meet guest demand during operating hours. This is a full-time, exempt role with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Familiarity with slicing equipment and deli machinery.
• Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli meats, cheeses, salads, and other items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Assist in receiving and storing deli inventory, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
• Support deli staff by replenishing displays and ensuring products are attractively presented.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Prep food sandwiches and other foods daily following recipes and SOPs.
• Stock shelves and refrigerators when needed.
• Wash all utensils used to perform the job.
