Job summary

Aspen Moon Farm, near Longmont and Boulder in Colorado, is seeking a Farm Stand Manager for the busy spring to fall season. You’ll oversee setup, sales, and closing, ensuring attractive displays and friendly service.

Position Overview

The Farm Stand Manager plays a key role in connecting our farm to the community by creating a welcoming, well-stocked, and visually appealing space for customers.

Farm Stand Operations

• Manage daily setup, sales, and closing of the farm stand
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
• Create attractive, abundant displays

Product & Inventory

• Maintain proper storage conditions (temperature, moisture) for produce and plants
• Stock and manage inventory from the packhouse and outside vendors
• Track product movement and communicate needs

CSA & Markets

• Coordinate CSA share distribution and troubleshoot as needed
• Assist with farmers' markets (Longmont or Boulder on Saturdays)
• Prepare, pack, and drive market trucks (clean driving record required)

Leadership & Teamwork

• Lead crew members in the farm stand and related tasks
• Support planning, record-keeping, and daily organization
• Collaborate across departments (packhouse, flowers, field) as needed

What We’re Looking For

Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Schedule & Compensation

• Season: April – November/December
• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
• Pay: $20–$22/hour (DOE) + staff vegetables
• Hours: 40–55 hours/week, depending on season
• Overtime: Time-and-a-half pay for all hours over 40
