Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a maintenance associate to repair and maintain equipment, structures, plumbing, and electrical systems across our farm establishment. The role requires basic mechanical skills and adherence to safety policies, with duties including cleaning, belt replacement, and minor welding.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (or vocational training) and at least six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or vocational training.
• Six months related experience in maintenance or similar role.
• Must understand policies, procedures and safety information in English.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain equipment, structures, plumbing and electrical systems of the establishment.
• Clean and lubricate machine parts (shafts, pulleys, gears, bearings).
• Replace or repair belts; dismantle machines and replace parts or motors; adjust feed mechanisms.
• Remove dust, dirt, grease and waste; paint machines/equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Patch or replace plaster and paint walls, ceilings and trim; clear drains; replace plumbing fixtures.
• Operate welding machine to repair or join metal parts.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance; perform duties as assigned to meet business needs.
