Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a maintenance technician in Arizona to repair and maintain farm equipment, structures, plumbing and electrical systems. The role operates on a day shift from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM and requires reliable attendance to meet business needs.

The position emphasizes servicing machinery, performing repairs, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. A high school diploma or GED (or vocational training) and some related experience are preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or vocational training.
• Six months related experience.
• Must be able to understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules and regulations (including all safety training and safety information) written in English.
• Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches.

• Clean and lubricate machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• Replace or repair machine belts.
• Dismantle machines or equipment and replace defective parts and motors, and adjust feed mechanisms.
• Remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste from machines and paint equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Patch or replace plaster or plaster board and paint walls, ceilings, and trim of the building including clearing clogged drains and replacing plumbing fixtures.
• Operate welding machine to repair or join metal parts.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform duties as assigned to meet business needs.

The starting wage for this position will be between $20 & $25/HR.

Depending On Experience.

Day Shift: 5:00 AM-4:00 PM

Schedule will vary according to need

This position will repair and maintain equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems of the Farm establishment.

Essential Duties

• Cleaning and lubricating machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• Replacing or repairing machine belts
• Dismantling machines or equipment and replacing defective parts and motors, and adjust feed mechanisms.
• Removing dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines and paint machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Patching or replacing plaster or plaster board and paint walls, ceilings, and trim of building including clearing clogged drains and replacing plumbing fixtures.
• Operating welding machine to repair or join metal parts.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing their duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or vocational training

Physical Demands

• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.

• Ability to observe surroundings, objects, and labels at both close and far distances
