Responsibilities include preparing reports, coordinating vendor payments, and monitoring capital expenditures. Collaboration with farm operations and accounting is essential to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of accounting, financial analysis, operational analysis, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, including accruals, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for organizing, reconciling, and analyzing data.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities with high accuracy.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production, yield, revenue, operating expenses, labor, and other KPIs to identify trends and communicate findings.
• Maintain integrity of financial, operational, production, and compliance information critical to farming operations.
• Prepare and maintain recurring operational, financial, and management reports for budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate farming-related financial administration including vendor payments, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual closings with accurate farming transactions and schedules.
• Maintain oversight of farming assets, equipment, leases, and capital expenditures.
