Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to partner with field, operations and accounting teams, improving performance and transparency in financial data. This role focuses on agricultural operations analytics, budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting in a collaborative environment.

The position is based in Livingston, CA, with a salary range of $95,000–$110,000 and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years cost accounting experience in field, grower accounting, or similar agricultural operations.
• 3+ years financial data analysis and reporting.
• Advanced MS Excel and experience with BI platforms (Cognos or similar). ExtendAg familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field, operations and accounting teams to analyze financial performance and drive improvement.
• Monitor key operational metrics related to planting, growing, and harvesting onion.
• Prepare and present performance indicators and spending summaries to leadership.
• Participate in budget development, forecasting, data collection and regular financial reporting.
• Support capital project reviews by coordinating requests and analysis with corporate teams.
• Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries and raw material cost reviews.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ad-hoc projects.
