Redline Equipment is seeking a Service Manager to lead and develop the service team, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations at our Indiana locations. The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical skills with administrative focus to meet financial objectives and drive performance.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, implementing policies, scheduling work, advising customers on repairs, and pursuing improvements in sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Five years of service/mechanical experience with farm, heavy equipment, or diesel engines.
• Successful experience leading a team.
• Proven track record in customer service and communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Service Department staff to develop and sustain high performance, budget achievements, and morale.
• Align and implement company policies, SOPs, bulletins, and campaigns.
• Schedule service work according to priority and maintain a consistent workflow.
• Advise customers of necessary repair services and preventative maintenance.
• Create strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure warranty claims are processed according to policy.
• Maintain service tools and service vehicles and keep facilities safe.
• Manage time records, overtime, on-call scheduling and vacation approvals.
