Job summary

Redline Equipment is seeking a Parts Sales Manager to lead the dealership Parts Department. You will supervise staff, manage inventories, and optimize purchasing with vendors while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include aligning with policies, improving processes, and ensuring accurate invoicing and inventory controls across multiple vendors. A strong leadership history and heavy equipment experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum five years purchasing/distribution experience in heavy equipment parts.
• Proven track record in leading a team and customer service.
• Strong communications and computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Parts Department staff and drive high performance and morale.
• Align with company policies, SOPs, bulletins and campaigns.
• Manage inventories, programs and vendor returns.
• Oversee complex inventory metrics, stock turns, and freight control.
• Plan, organize, directs and control parts department activities.
• Meet budgeted expenses and performance targets.
• Develop strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer issues per company guidelines.
• Coordinate market demand and material availability.
• Prepare and review purchase orders with vendors.
• Ensure accurate vendor invoicing for price, freight, surcharges.
• Maintain tidy parts warehouse and showroom.
• Conduct cycle counts and year-end inventory procedures.
