Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport merchandise between SSC facilities and customer farms, production sites, and residences. You will load, unload, and deliver seed, fertilizer, crop protectants, feed, and farm supplies, using forklifts and pallet jacks as required.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, six months of delivery/warehouse experience, and Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Requires six (6) months of delivery/warehouse experience.
• Needs a valid driver’s license and ability to operate forklift and other equipment.
• Requires Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare merchandise for delivery and verify load documentation.
• Load and unload boxes, pallets, and equipment using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Safely operate SSC delivery vehicles and maintain on-time schedules.
• Represent SSC professionally to customers during deliveries.
• Inspect items for damage and assist with basic vehicle maintenance.
• Provide prompt customer support and assist with locating merchandise.
