Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking a delivery driver to transport seed, fertilizer, crop protectants and related farm supplies between SSC facilities and customer sites. The role includes loading, unloading, operating forklifts and ensuring accurate documentation.

CDL not required, with emphasis on safety and customer service. You may perform additional warehouse and merchandising tasks, assist with inventory, and help maintain equipment and showroom areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires six months of experience operating delivery vehicles and performing warehouse functions.
• Experience operating industrial equipment including forklift is preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate box trucks, pickup trucks, flat beds and other vehicles to transport merchandise between SSC facilities and customer sites.
• Load and unload merchandise ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy.
• Deliver to customer farms, production sites and residences while maintaining on-time schedules and safety policies.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and document service needs to ensure reliable operations.
