Job summary

Frontier Farm Credit in Minnesota offers a 12-week summer internship focused on accounting and payroll services for farming operations. You will learn reporting rules and help educate customers, while collaborating on external materials and education events.

Travel to Omaha, NE for Orientation, Mid-Summer, and Closing events is required and travel expenses are covered. A competitive hourly wage and $500 sign-on bonus are offered to qualified interns.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Education, Business, Accounting, Tax, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication skills.
• Interest in adult education, program management and territory education.
• Available for a 12-week internship during the summer.
• Relocation assistance available for those who qualify.
• Qualified interns will receive a competitive hourly wage and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to providing timely and accurate accounting and payroll services for farming operations.
• Assist in educating farm accounting customers on reporting.
• Learn accounting rules and deadlines.
• Collaborate on development of materials for external audiences.
• Coordinate the logistics of assigned customer education events.
