Job summary

AgCountry Farm Credit Services is seeking a Farm Accounting Officer Intern to learn the core duties, build customer relationships, and support a team delivering accurate accounting and payroll services for farming operations.

You will gain hands-on experience while working on meaningful projects and developing professional skills, with a summer 12-week internship and a supportive onboarding environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Business, Accounting, Tax, Finance or related fields.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong desire to pursue a career involving adult education, program management, sales, marketing and territory management.
• Available for a 12-week internship during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to timely and accurate accounting and payroll services for farming operations and owners of farmland.
• Assist in educating farm accounting customers on the importance of effective and accurate reporting.
• Learn more about accounting rules and maintaining deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams on development of materials for external audiences.
• Coordinate the logistics of assigned customer education events.
