Regional Transportation District (RTD) seeks a skilled Fare Collection Program Manager to coordinate and improve fare collection operations across the agency. You will liaise with business units, IT teams, and vendors to ensure effective system performance and policy compliance.

The role emphasizes budget development, process standardization, and data-driven analysis of system health and user experience, with a focus on delivering reliable, accessible fare solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of experience supporting or managing programs, projects, systems, and/or operations.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Experience developing operating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Experience coordinating short- and long-term planning and system improvements.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and directs activities supporting the fare collection program with multiple units and IT teams.
• Serves as the primary liaison for stakeholder needs regarding fare collection.
• Maintains communications with management, heads of departments, and end users about operations and production activities.
• Manages vendor relationships including procurements, contracts, SLAs, and related activities.
• Develops budgets for the fare collection program and conducts cost-benefit analyses for initiatives.
• Documents operating policies and procedures for the fare collection team and related units.
• Analyzes system metrics and user experience to monitor health and plan improvements.
• Drives goals to improve efficiency and support new technologies in the fare program.
• Advances RTD's EEO, Title VI, and ADA plans in contracting and procurement practices.
