Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking an experienced Fare Collection Manager to coordinate and improve the fare collection program. You will serve as the primary liaison across agencies, vendors, and IT teams, shaping policy, performance, and vendor relations to deliver reliable revenue operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Sciences/Information Technology, or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience supporting or managing programs, projects, systems, and/or operations with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Experience developing and implementing operating policies, procedures, and/or processes.
• Experience coordinating short- and long-term planning and supporting system or program improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities supporting the fare collection program with business units, end users, vendors, and IT teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholder needs and concerns related to fare collection.
• Establish and maintain communications with management, department heads, and end users regarding operations and production activities.
• Manage, maintain, and monitor vendor relationships including procurements, contracts, SLAs, and access control.
• Coordinate and direct the development and tracking of budgets and cost-benefit analyses for initiatives.
• Establish and document operating policies, standards, and procedures for the fare collection team.
• Analyze and publish metrics on system utilization and user experience to support system health.
• Develop short-term and long-term goals to improve the fare collection program and support new technologies.
