Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die is seeking a Weld Engineer to join our Toledo, Ohio team. This full-time role focuses on developing and improving welding processes to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.

You will establish procedures, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement across welding operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Weld Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with knowledge of robotic welding and automotive tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Weld Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in weld engineering in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve welding processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Establish welding procedures and troubleshoot weld issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in welding operations and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with product design to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
• Lead root cause analyses and document problem-solving methodologies.
