Weld County Department of Human Services is seeking a Part-time Family Time Worker I to support adult/child interactions and facilitate family reunification efforts. The role involves on-site visits, community work, and occasional in-home sessions across Weld County.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with some social services experience and demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with six months experience in social services.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Aufgaben

• Provide monitored and supervised family time sessions on-site, in the community and in-home.
• Deliver in-the-moment interventions to uphold child safety and FTC policies.
• Provide parent education through formal curricula or informal modeling and interventions.
• Create goals with clients using strength-based engagement techniques.
• Develop rapport with parents, learn family culture/values, and identify dysfunctional patterns affecting child safety.
• Promote progress toward permanency and contribute to treatment planning and placement discussions.
• Document progress and ensure data entry to required databases on schedule.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and hearings; coordinate with legal partners as needed.
