Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 1 year of Child Welfare experience or six months as Journey Level Weld County Child Welfare Caseworker with Meets Standards.
Experience with trauma-informed practice is preferred but not required.
Ability to keyboard at 40 WPM and enter data in multiple programs.

Responsibilities

Provide intensive in-room supervision and hands-on skills training for in-office and in-home family time between parents, relatives, and children.
Deliver in-the-moment interventions to ensure child safety and uphold center policies.
Educate parents through structured curricula or informal modeling; set goals with clients.
Document progress in family time notes and monthly reports; participate in treatment team.
Build rapport with families, assess culture and trauma impacts, and assist with referrals and planning.
Perform ICPC case assignments and support the Family Time Center Team in program development and training.
