Job summary

County of Weld seeks a Family Time Worker I for the Weld County Department of Human Services in Colorado. The role intervenes in parent/child relationships using evidence-based methods to promote safe caregiving and reunification when possible.

The primary office is in Greeley with travel across Weld County. In-person work only; 40 hours/week; schedule Tuesday–Thursday 10 AM–7 PM and Friday–Saturday 8 AM–5 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with six months social services experience (may include internship).
• Typing and data entry skills with ability to learn multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• 70% Provide monitored and supervised family time sessions on site, in the community, and in-home.
• 25% Attend meetings, supervision, and trainings; assist with case updates and court hearings as needed.
• 5% Understand and implement state guidelines and policies for Child Welfare.
