Overview
MST-FIT (Multisystemic Therapy – Family Integrated Transitions) is an intensive family and community-based treatment that addresses the multiple determinants of serious antisocial behavior. MST aims to promote behavior change in the youth’s natural environment, utilizing the strengths of each system to facilitate change. Treatment is initiated for the youth and family while the youth is still in placement. It is an adaptation of traditional MST Therapy designed to promote successful integration of the youth back into the community post-placement. The MST-FIT Supervisor will ensure that these services adhere to the model’s specifications while employing the MST-FIT model throughout a 46-bed adolescent female Rapid Intervention Center and Group Residence.
