Job summary

Jenda Family Services in Omaha, NE seeks a Family Support Worker to assist children, parents, and families by providing practical help, accessing community resources, and supervising visits. You will document case progress and advocate for families while coordinating with schools, healthcare providers, and state agencies.

This field-based role requires travel within the area, with hours ranging 15–40 per week during training and potential full-time thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients for supervised visits in personal vehicle.
• Communicate expectations and provide redirection during visits.

• Consult with supervisors on case status and barriers.
• Help clients develop strategies for goals to improve family functioning.
• Maintain confidential client records and professional demeanor.
