Job summary

A Blessing of Hope Family Services in Omaha, NE is seeking a Family Service Specialist to supervise visits in client homes and during community visits evenings and weekends, supporting families on their path to reunification.

You'll advocate for families, document progress, coordinate with DHHS and caseworkers, and provide transportation for children. This is a full-time role requiring reliable transportation and strong communication, with evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to safely transport children.
• Clear communication and strong documentation skills.
• Positive rapport with families to build trust and provide meaningful support.
• Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation.
• Experience with crisis intervention and child development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise visits in client homes, in the community during evenings (2pm-8pm) and on weekends.
• Facilitate safe transportation to and from visits.
• Maintain accurate and unbiased reports of each visit.
• Help families find and apply for resources supporting reunification.
