Job summary

A Blessing of Hope Family Services in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Part-Time Family Service Specialist to supervise visits in clients' homes and the community, evenings 2pm–8pm, and weekends, with a focus on safety and reunification.

You will document progress, coordinate with DHHS, transport children, and provide parent coaching to strengthen families, while complying with court and agency requirements.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and accurate documentation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field preferred, but not required.
• Experience with child welfare, crisis intervention, or working with families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise visits in client homes and communities, evenings and weekends.
• Document progress and submit reports within required timelines.
• Coordinate with DHHS and caseworkers to support reunification goals.
• Provide transportation for children to and from visits.
