Job summary

A Blessing of Hope Family Services in Nebraska is seeking a dedicated Family Service Specialist to supervise child visits, provide parenting support, and help families reunify safely. The role requires evening and weekend hours with reliable transportation and strong documentation skills.

You will document progress, coordinate with the DHHS, testify in court as needed, and assist with transportation for children and families.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance; able to transport children safely.
• Clear written and verbal communication with families and DHHS.
• Accurate and unbiased documentation of visits and progress.
• Experience in coaching parents and facilitating parenting skills.
• Strong time management to coordinate visits and reports.

Responsibilities

• Support family goals by collaborating with families and DHHS to reach caseworker-set objectives.
• Facilitate visits and provide safe transport to and from visits.
• Maintain accurate and unbiased visit reports and documentation.
• Help families access resources supporting reunification and well-being.
