Family Support Facilitator Supervisor
Job Summary
Under the assigned supervisor, the Family Support Facilitator Supervisor is responsible for the supervisionof the delivery of services and the supervision of staff in the assigned program in accordance with theprogram guidelines. This includes providing resources to staff and utilizing community partnerships withthe goal of providing support services to moderate and high-risk families to reduce the likelihood of afuture incidence of maltreatment and involvement with the child welfare system. The Family SupportFacilitator Supervisor implements the use of Motivational Interviewing and Family Team Conferencing while utilizing a trauma-informed care approach to assist families. These methods will be the primarymanner in which work with the family is performed by employees. Principles of strength-based work,family engagement and risk management will be performed in the daily work. Documentation will bemaintained routinely as part of the work with each employee.
