Job summary

One Hope United is seeking a Mobile Crisis Supervisor to oversee the Mobile Crisis Program in Illinois, ensuring adherence to program guidelines and supervising staff. You will manage intake, referrals, case planning, and provide administrative support to ensure high-quality services.

The role requires 2 years of leadership experience, a Master's in Human Services (or related field), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Master's in Human Services or related field; license preferred: LCPC, LCSW, LSOE, etc.
  • 2 years related leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; OHU-required auto insurance coverage

Responsibilities

  • Supervises daytime crisis response system, including referral intake and client emergencies.
  • Oversees case responsibilities, case-planning, and staff supervision.
  • Reviews intake information, determines referrals and case assignments.
  • Provides staff training, ongoing supervision, and professional development.
  • Ensures billing accuracy, budgeting, and adherence to funding source policies.
  • Maintains documentation, ensures client safety, and handles grievances.
  • Participates in community outreach and agency management meetings.

Job description

The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for supervising the delivery of services in the Mobile Crisis Program in accordance with all program guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages the DAYTIME crisis response system, including referral intake and/or client emergencies.
  • Reviews intake information of clients referred for services and determines referral acceptance and case assignment.
  • Oversees case responsibilities and provides guidance in case-planning.
  • Provides weekly supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic approaches with clients and offers administrative case support.
  • Reviews all written documents created by staff.
  • Reviews funding source policies and procedures, updates procedures according to state requirements and trains staff on the implementation of these procedures.
  • Ensures consistency in case files, including reviewing that documentation is being filed accordingly.
  • Ensures staff handles unusual incidents in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Completes various outcome reports, as required.
  • Participates in required meetings and trainings with funding source.
  • Provides staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support.
  • Engages staff in professional development.
  • Monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Ensures adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source.
  • Ensures billing accuracy and timeliness; completes billing procedures for private contracts when necessary.
  • Handles client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances.
  • Conducts regular unit/team meetings with staff.
  • Participates in various collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and presence within the community, creating community linkages and opportunities.
  • Participates in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and services.
  • Participates in agency management meetings and work groups.
  • Assists CQRI in the development of agency documentation to enhance programming and to meet the requirements of the funding source policies and procedures.
  • Works to ensure quality of service and the achievement of program outcome goals.
  • Provides direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff.
  • Manages case assignments to ensure an equal distribution of cases and to maintain the appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlines by the funding source.
  • Ensures adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with specific program guidelines and the minimum required contact hours are achieved each month.
  • Ensures staff at all levels are closely monitoring child and client safety and are appropriately responsive to any situation posing a risk to, or by, a client.
  • Completes and submits performance appraisals in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a positive organizational culture.
  • Oversees interns.
  • Performs duties independently.
