Job summary

The Harlem Dowling-West Side Center for Children & Family Services in Manhattan seeks a dedicated professional to supervise and support children and families at risk of foster care placement. You will conduct counseling, perform home and school visits, and coordinate monitoring of medical and educational services.

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor, you will work directly with families to promote stability and well‑being and ensure compliance with required programs and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Experience in child welfare or related social services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children and families at risk of foster care placement.
• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Conduct home visits and school visits.
• Monitor medical and educational services for clients.
