Job summary

NORTH FLORIDA CHILD DEVELOPMENT INC. is seeking a Family Advocate IV to recruit eligible children for NFCD programs and provide comprehensive case management to empower families toward self-sufficiency.

The role involves partnering with health services and coordinating with community resources to meet basic needs. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, documenting activities, supporting attendance and parental involvement, and facilitating SDTs with center staff.

Qualifications

• Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to make decisions based on family support principles and ethics.
• Work within a team approach and communicate effectively with families and staff.
• Ability to manage time and deadlines; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible children for NFCD programs to meet enrollment requirements.
• Complete applications, parent interviews, and enrollment process.
• Provide case management to identify needs and goals for families; develop partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with health services staff to ensure child health requirements compliance.
• Connect families with community resources for basic needs during crises.
• Document case management activities in NFCD database; follow up on attendance concerns.
• Maintain open, positive communication with families and staff; greet parents at arrival and departure times.
