Qualifications

• Two (2) years of adoption experience preferred.
• Florida Child Welfare Professional certification or CWP eligible; obtain within 12 months.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required at hire and ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage adoption cases, providing individualized care and support to children and prospective adoptive families.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine best matches for children and families, focusing on long-term stability and success.
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with foster families, biological families, community organizations, and legal professionals to support the adoption process.
• Advocate for the children, addressing barriers to permanency and prioritizing well-being.
• Provide training, education, and support to adoptive families to prepare them for transition and adjustment.
