Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Family Support Specialist to assist families in the Family Preservation Program, promoting child safety, stability, and well-being. You will work with case managers, therapists, and partners to ensure services align with case plan goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating community resources, providing emotional support and crisis intervention, and ensuring timely documentation. Some travel may be required. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direct and indirect support to families in home, school, and community settings.
• Coordinate community resources (e.g., healthcare, childcare, housing, employment, benefits).
• Collaborate with case managers and therapists to implement case plans.
• Offer emotional support, coaching, crisis intervention, and parenting guidance.
• Assist families with accessing services such as SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, and employment support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and prepare records for audits.
• Identify and address barriers to family engagement and service success.
• Transport clients as required and attend court proceedings when applicable.
• Support ongoing communication between families and service providers.
• Promote teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and agency values.
