Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Adrian, MI is seeking a Family Store Driver / Processor to pick up and deliver donated items and process donated materials when time allows. You will provide excellent donor service and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and pricing of clothing per direction.

Requirements include a valid chauffeur’s license and Safe From Harm training; Hi-lo experience and a high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks up, unloads, and delivers donations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Picks up, unloads, and delivers donations
• Provides excellent customer service with donors
• Maintains cleanliness of truck and ensures it is fueled, reporting any damage and maintenance needs to manager
• Process all merchandise efficiently and properly
• Price clothing per direction
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Hi-lo experience

Computer Skills

• Basic Computer operation knowledge
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office 365

Certificates And Licenses

• Must have and maintain a current valid chauffer’s license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
