Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or Bachelor's degree with two years related experience.
Possession of a BSW or MSW degree and Virginia Social Worker license desirable.
Knowledge of social work principles, human behavior, and related social issues.

Responsibilities

Interprets laws, policies and regulations within area of responsibility.
Monitors, coordinates and administers specific programs as assigned.
Interviews and assesses customer needs and other factors (education/skill levels, abilities, support systems).
Prepares and implements service plans to deliver appropriate services.
Maintains case records and prepares reports and correspondence.
Coordinates with other agencies and participates in multi-disciplinary teams.
