Job summary

Pathways to Community is seeking dedicated caregivers to join our team serving individuals with diverse needs in the Twin Cities metro area. If you value compassion, reliability and teamwork, we want to talk with you.

This full-time role offers a generous benefits package and a wage of $19.50 per hour. Shifts are scheduled Mon-Fri 7:30am–9:00pm (pick 3 days) and Sat 10:00am–Sun 11:00am (every weekend), totaling about 35 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have a valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Training new staff as they enter the program.
• Assist individuals with varied medical and behavioral needs.
• Work within programs including 1:1 In-Home and Respite.
• Administering medications.
• Cooking and help with housework.
• Providing constant supervision.
• Transporting individuals to appointments and events.

Lead Schedule / Availability

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 9:00 pm (Pick 3 days) Saturday 10:00 am - Sunday 11:00 am (Every weekend) *Shifts are assigned within this time frame* (35 hours per week)

Compensation

$19.50 per hour *This is a float position and will be required to work throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

Responsibilities

• Training new staff as they enter the program on the Individuals that the FS Program serves
• Be available to serve individuals with a combination of high or low behaviors, high or low medical needs, and high or low functioning individuals in a variety of ways including personal cares.
• Working within several different programs (1:1 In-Home and Respite)
• Administering medications
• Cooking and help with housework
• Providing constant supervision
• Transporting individuals to appointments and community events using personal vehicle

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle
• Possess strong English communication skills
• Be able to participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.)
• Be able to pass a criminal background check
