Job summary

Pathways to Community in the Twin Cities metro area seeks a dedicated lead caregiver to train staff and support individuals across programs. The role includes administering medications, providing personal care, and supervising in-home and respite services.

The position offers full-time benefits, including health and dental coverage, retirement matching, and modest cell phone reimbursement. 35 hours per week at $19.50 per hour with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, and have daily access to a reliable vehicle.
• Possess strong English communication skills.
• Be able to participate in water activities (pool, waterslides, hot tub, etc.).
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Training new staff as they enter the program on the Individuals that the FS Program serves.
• Be available to serve individuals with a combination of high or low behaviors, high or low medical needs, and high or low functioning individuals in a variety of ways including personal cares.
• Working within several different programs (1:1 In-Home and Respite).
• Administering medications.
• Cooking and help with housework.
• Providing constant supervision.
• Transporting individuals to appointments and community events using personal vehicle.

Lead Schedule / Availability:

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 9:00 pm (Pick 3 days)

Saturday 10:00 am - Sunday 11:00 am (Every weekend)

*Shifts are assigned within this time frame*

(35 hours per week)

Compensation: $19.50 per hour

*This is a float position and will be required to work throughout the Twin Cities metro area.*
