Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is seeking a Family Services Manager to lead a team focused on helping families thrive in supportive housing. You will guide program design, ensure responsive services, and collaborate with internal and external partners to support housing stability and family outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Family Services program design, service delivery, budget, staffing and coordination with internal and external partners to assure participants maintain housing.
  • Develop and manage relationships and Memorandums of Understanding with service partners.
  • Assist with contracts and reporting to HUD, MN Housing, DHS, etc.
  • Provide project management on initiatives and special projects.
  • Work with Volunteer Program to recruit, train, and support work study and tutor-mentors for after school programming.
  • Support Family Services Team; identify training and case consultation needs.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies in support of staff.
  • Represent PPL in the Supportive Housing community.

Position Summary

The Family Services Manager, you will lead a dedicated team committed to helping families thrive in Supportive Housing. Through innovative programming and compassionate leadership, you will oversee services that empower families to achieve housing stability, strengthen behavioral health, build financial resilience, engage with their communities, and support healthy youth and parenting outcomes.

This role combines strategic program leadership with hands‑on team management, ensuring services are responsive, effective, and centered on the unique strengths and needs of each family. You will supervise Family Services Coordinators and Children & Youth Services Coordinators while driving excellence in service delivery and continuous program improvement.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee Family Services program design, service delivery, budget, staffing and coordination with internal and external partners to assure participants maintain housing

  • Respond as needed to after hour’s emergencies or incidents in support of staff
  • Represent PPL in the Supportive Housing community
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Hire, train and support 4-8 staff and interns
What You Bring
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience providing supervision and talent management
  • Experience with program design and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Grant and budget and data management experience
  • Experience providing strengths‑based case management, direct services and developing supportive housing service plans
  • Ability to provide crisis intervention and support
  • Ability to work with and develop partnerships with outside agencies in the community
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and service networks
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and insurance
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor degree in social work, human services, education or a related field (additional experience may substitute for education)
  • 5+ years of experience working with diverse and formerly homeless populations, or in social work, Human Services or other closely related field
