Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews to determine eligibility for Ohio Works First, Medicaid, and SNAP.
• Gather and verify documentation; compute budgets and make eligibility determinations.
• Use Ohio Benefits system and other software to manage cases.
• Process case changes, schedule appointments, release medical cards, and respond to alerts.
• Complete family assessments, provide referrals to community resources, and explain program rights and responsibilities.
• Investigate and process fraud cases, overpayments, and underpayments.
• Assess employability, determine work participation requirements, assign work activities, and track compliance.
• Prepare accurate, timely documentation, including reports, forms, narratives, and correspondence.
• Participate in county conferences, state hearings, and court proceedings when required; collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to stay current on policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
