Job summary

Butler County ESC in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Family Service Worker for Case Management to support Head Start families, maintain caseloads, and connect families with community services and health resources.

The role requires an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, English/Spanish preferred, valid Ohio driver’s license, strong teamwork and organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and documentation. This is a full-time position in a school-based setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Services field.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• One year prior social service experience with families or undergraduate field practicum.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record and daily access to a private insured vehicle.
• Willingness/ability to work as a team member.
• Computer skills appropriate to the position.
• Good organizational skills.
• History of good job attendance.
• Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable disease.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enrolled families in Head Start centers according to standards.
• Serve as liaison between parents and staff; ensure comprehensive services for children on caseload.
• Link families with community social/health services for direct support.
• Maintain health and safety of children and provide active supervision.
