Job summary

Access: Supports for Living in Newburgh, NY seeks a dedicated assistant to support a Caseworker, providing transportation for clients to medical appointments or Family Court, and performing clerical duties on site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with families from diverse backgrounds. Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• function as an assistant to the Caseworker
• provide transportation for clients to medical appointments/Family Court or other appointments deemed necessary by the supervisor
• assist caseworkers with transporting of families and supervise visitation between parent and child when such is required by the Orange County Department of Social Services
• Perform a variety of clerical duties while at the job site.
