Job summary

Access, Inc. in Newburgh, NY seeks an aide to assist a Caseworker and provide transportation for clients to medical and court appointments. The role also involves supervising family visitations as directed by the Orange County Department of Social Services and performing a variety of clerical duties on site.

The position is a full-time, on-site role with a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM with Flexibility (40hrs)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role you will:

• function as an assistant to the Caseworker
• provide transportation for clients to medical appointments/Family Court or other appointments deemed necessary by the supervisor
• assist caseworkers with transporting of families and supervise visitation between parent and child when such is required by the Orange County Department of Social Services
• Perform a variety of clerical duties while at the job site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Valid driver’s license is required
• Reliable transportation
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work with families from diverse cultures and backgrounds
