Job summary

Rising Ground in New York City is seeking a Case Aide to support casework services within Preventive Services. You may interview clients, collect information, and assist children and families with transportation and visits to service providers.

Responsibilities include supporting case planners, documenting risk assessments, and helping families access community resources. The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in child welfare, and willingness to travel within the NYC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience in a child welfare environment.
• Strong organizational and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Case Planners and attend JHV with Case Planners and CPS at initiation of case.
• Assist families to access in-house and community-based services and accompany them to programs and service providers.
• Carry out periodic risk and safety assessments and document findings in Connections and progress notes.
• Enter casework contacts in PROMIS weekly and progress notes within 5 days of occurrence.
