Alexandria Housing Authority is seeking a Social Service Analyst to serve as the FSS Coordinator, guiding families toward financial stability through case management and community resources. You will recruit participants, develop individualized goals, and monitor progress toward self-sufficiency.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on compassion, integrity, and serving diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in social services, OR six years in any field, OR a bachelor's degree.
• Experience substitution: 30 semester hours = 1 year toward the six years; max 120 semester hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of assigned affordable housing communities.
• Provide leadership and performance oversight for housing staff.
• Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, LIHTC requirements, Housing Authority policies, Fair Housing laws, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for work orders, inspections, and unit make‑ready.
• Collaborate with Housing Choice Voucher staff, Residents Services, contractors, vendors, and community partners.
• Maintain organized records and support audits and inspections.
