Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Policy Studies, Communications, or related field plus an additional two years of related work experience or an equivalent for a total education/experience of six years.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to help parents to work with their children to improve achievement, such as literacy training and using technology.
• Educate teachers and staff, with parents, on the value of parental contributions and how to partner effectively.
• Develop and implement ongoing engagement programming for parents and collaborate with managers to identify needs and resources.
• Coordinate initiatives with families and community partners for coherent engagement efforts.
• Support schools to build capacity for productive partnerships between families and schools.
