Job summary

A Blessing of Hope Family Services in Colorado is seeking a compassionate Family Service Specialist to supervise visits, support families, and help reunify children with their parents. You will work evenings (2pm-8pm) and weekends, and accompany families during visits in homes and communities.

You will document progress, coordinate transportation, testify as needed, and connect families with resources. Strong communication, reliable transportation, and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with kids, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise visits in client homes and communities during evenings and weekends.
• Provide parenting skills assistance and coaching to support reunification.
• Document progress, report concerns, and maintain case records.
• Transport children and families to and from visitations and coordinate resources.
