Job summary

A Blessing of Hope Family Services is seeking a Part‑Time Family Service Specialist in Nebraska/Columbus to supervise visits in client homes and the community during evenings (2pm–8pm) and weekends. You will collaborate with DHHS, document progress, and provide parent coaching to promote safe reunification of families.

Ideal candidates have reliable transportation, good communication and documentation skills, and experience with children and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with kids, crisis intervention, and knowledge of child welfare.
• Age 21+ and clean driving/criminal history.

Responsibilities

• Supervise visits in client homes and communities during evenings and weekends.
• Collaborate with DHHS and caseworkers to support family goals.
• Document progress and report concerns within required timelines.
• Provide parent coaching and resources to promote reunification.
