Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers in Durant, OK is seeking a Family Support Provider to empower children and families dealing with behavioral, emotional, or addiction challenges. You will work under supervision to deliver person-centered recovery services and coordinate with the care team to promote progress.

You will help families access resources, complete assessments, and ensure confidentiality while engaging diverse communities and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent competency.
• Experience in seeking and accessing state and community resources.
• Willingness to help families access resources for children with behavioral/emotional needs.
• Current Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification.
• Core competencies related to co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized recovery supportive services to individuals, families and groups to promote recovery.
• Serve as a recovery role model and help identify barriers to engagement in treatment.
• Assist families in developing informal supports for Family Team meetings.
• Complete assessments, safety plans, and care plans as assigned.
• Enter data into required systems and documentation in a timely manner.
• Support families toward using natural supports and participate in Family Team meetings.
